AI Overview tracker: how tracking AI Overviews works

An AI Overview tracker runs your chosen Google searches on a schedule and records whether an AI Overview appeared, what it said, and whether your site was cited, so you can see changes over time instead of one-off snapshots. Because AI Overviews vary by location and change often, a good tracker checks from your customers’ location and saves dated proof each time.

How often to track

Daily while you’re working on a page or after a launch; weekly for everything else; monthly for long-term watching. In RankResults you can also choose track until found: each AI surface is checked until it finds you (up to a limit you set), then weekly to confirm you’re still there. Alerts that mean something

A single check can flip because AI answers vary. RankResults re-checks a change once (free) before telling you, so an alert means it held. Alerts go by email or Telegram: when you arrive (with the screenshot and a share link), when you drop out, when a competitor appears, or when your ranking crosses a threshold you set.
