What does RankResults check?
Whether your business shows up when people ask AI. For each search you enter, we check Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, from the location you choose, and show whether your name or website appears in the answer or the pages it cites. Every result comes with proof: the answer text and a screenshot.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. Join with your Google account and you get 100 free credits, enough for about 20 searches checked on all five AI surfaces. No credit card. One free trial per Google account.
How long does the free plan keep my results?
The free plan includes 5 days of stored results: your projects, checks and history are kept for 5 days after you sign up. Members keep their full history. We send a friendly reminder on day 3 and day 5, and share links you’ve already posted keep working either way.
Can it keep checking for me and tell me when I appear?
Yes. Track any search on a schedule (daily, every 3 days, weekly or monthly) for a set period, or until you’re found. Every change is re-checked once before we alert you, so you only hear about changes that hold. Alerts come by email and Telegram, with a screenshot and a share link, and you can have a weekly or monthly PDF report emailed to you or a client.
What is a credit?
Credits pay for the live lookups we run for you. One search checked on one AI surface is 1 credit, so a search on all five is 5. A Google ranking check is 1 credit per search (2 for the top 100), a questions lookup is 1, and a search volume refresh is 15. Anything built from checks you already ran is free: PDFs, share cards, Citations and Share of Voice. You always see the cost before you press Run.
Why does an AI answer change between checks?
AI answers are generated fresh each time, so the same question can get a different answer an hour later, from a different place, or for a different person. That’s exactly why we save every answer with its date, time and location, so you have proof of what the AI said when we asked.
Where does the data come from?
Real searches, not guesses. Each AI surface and Google is asked your exact question, in your chosen location, through trusted third-party service providers that retrieve the full answer. We never change your search terms: what you type is exactly what gets asked.
Can I share my results?
Yes. Every check can become a share card and a public link for Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp or your website. Share links are public by default, and you choose what they show: hide your name, your searches or the map, stop search engines listing the page, or turn a link off at any time.
Which countries does it work in?
Worldwide. Pick a country, state, city or postcode. The Google surfaces and Gemini go right down to postcode level; ChatGPT and Perplexity use the country.
What do you do with my Google account?
Only sign you in. We ask Google for your name, email address and profile picture, nothing else. We can’t see your Gmail, Drive, contacts or anything else in your Google account.
