RankResults is an AI visibility checker operated by Peter Drew. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
What the service does
You tell us the searches you care about, the names and websites that should appear, and a location. We ask AI answer engines (Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity) and Google search those exact questions, using trusted third-party service providers to retrieve the search and AI results, and show you whether you appear, with the answers and screenshots as proof. You can check any business, including competitors: we only ever ask the same public questions anyone could ask.
AI answers vary: read this bit
AI answers are generated fresh each time. The same question can get a different answer minutes later, from a different place, or for a different person, and AI engines change how they answer without notice. Every result is a record of what one AI said at one time and place, not a guarantee of what anyone else will see. Rankings, search volumes and costs per click are estimates from Google and our data provider. Nothing in RankResults is a promise of any ranking, mention, traffic or business result.
Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure: anyone who can use it can use your RankResults account. One person, one account. You can delete projects at any time, and ask us to delete your account at petesupport.com.
Credits and the free trial
- Live lookups use credits. Each one shows its credit cost before you run it. Checks built from results you already have (PDFs, share cards, Citations, Share of Voice) are free.
- New accounts get a free trial of credits: one free trial per Google account. Creating extra accounts to get more free credits isn’t allowed, and we may remove credits or accounts that do.
- Checks that fail on the AI provider’s side (errors and time-outs) don’t use credits.
- Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and aren’t refundable. We may change credit prices for future checks; we’ll never change the price of a check after you press Run.
- Paid credit packs will come later, with their own terms at checkout.
Free plan: 5 days of stored results
The free plan includes 5 days of stored results. Your projects, checks and their history are kept for 5 days after you sign up and then deleted, unless you become a member; members keep their full history. The app shows how long your results are stored, and we email you a reminder on day 3 and day 5. Deletion is real, not just hidden. Public share pages you created, and their images, are kept so links you’ve posted keep working; everything else goes. Your account itself stays, so the free trial can’t be restarted. Members’ results are never reset.
Scheduled checks and alerts
Scheduled checks use credits like any other check; the free re-check we run to confirm a change before alerting you doesn’t. When your credits run out, all schedules pause (nothing further is spent) and your setup is kept; adding credits or upgrading resumes them. Alerts and reports are sent by email and, if you connect it, Telegram. Extra report recipients you add (e.g. a client) receive the report emails you choose; add only people who expect them.
Fair use
To keep the service working for everyone, there are limits on how many checks can run at once and per day, and on total daily use. Please don’t use automated scripts against the service, try to get around the limits or the one-trial rule, or use RankResults to break any law or anyone else’s rights. We may pause or close accounts that do.
Share pages
Every result has its own unguessable link, which is also its address in the app: anyone you give it to can see a public version without signing in. Search engines are only invited if you switch that on. You choose what the public version shows, can make any result private, and can turn a link off at any time. Only share results you’re happy to make public, and don’t present a share in a misleading way.
Names and trademarks
Google, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, ChatGPT and Perplexity are trademarks of their owners. RankResults isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from your use of RankResults or from decisions made using its results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms; when we make a meaningful change we’ll update the date at the top. Using the service after that means you accept the current version.
